An org chart built from Okta, kept current by Okta.
If Okta already knows who reports to whom, your org chart should too. Parzify reads the manager attribute over SCIM and draws the company. Nothing to import, nothing to maintain.
Create your company
Sign up with your work email. You become the first admin and set up an authenticator app.
Create an OIDC app in Okta
The guided setup shows each Okta screen, gives you the redirect URIs to paste, and takes the client ID and secret. Test sign-in from inside Parzify.
Add the provisioning app
Okta does not offer SCIM on OIDC apps, so a second, hidden app carries provisioning. The wizard covers this too, including attribute mappings and the manager field.
Assign a group
Assign your Everyone group. Profiles arrive in seconds; the chart draws itself. Data health shows the few records to fix.
Which Okta attributes does Parzify use?
Required: username (login), first name, last name. Recommended: email, title, department, division, and the manager. The manager can arrive as the manager's email in managerId, in a custom attribute such as managerEmail, or as a display name in manager; Parzify resolves whichever you have and falls back to the next. Optional: employee number, organization, time zone, city, country, phone.
Okta writes to Parzify; Parzify never writes to Okta. Deactivating or unassigning a person removes them from the chart and keeps their history for the audit log.
Connect Okta in 15 minutes.
Start with a test group of two people if you like. Assign everyone when you are ready.
